• COPY OF BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE is required for NEW STUDENTS at time of registration.
• PROOF OF SACRAMENTS received and/or CERTIFICATE of COMPLETION must be presented for TRANSFER STUDENTS at time of registration.

2-YEAR SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION FOR 1st RECONCILIATION AND
1st HOLY COMMUNION

Grade 1 is for 1st graders in non-Catholic/public school.

Grade 2 is for students who have completed 1st Grade CCD.  Classes are in person on Saturday 11:30 am only. Grade 2 CCD students receive 1st Holy Communion in May.

AGE-APPROPRIATE (AA) CLASSES for students late in attending.

New and transfer students must make an appointment with Sr. Ruth Linaac, RVM, to register in person.

AA1 & AA2: SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION FOR 1st RECONCILIATION & 1st HOLY COMMUNION

AA1 (Age Appropriate Level 1)

• AA1 is for students in Grades 2 through 5 in non-Catholic/public school who have not yet received Holy Communion.
• Students are prepared for the Sacraments.
• Upon completion of AA1, students are promoted to AA2

AA2 (Age Appropriate Level 2)

• In person, Saturday at 11:30 am only. For students who have completed AA1.
• AA2 students receive 1st Holy Communion in May.
• After receiving 1st Holy Communion the student is promoted to their regular grade in non-Catholic school the following school year.

AA6: SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION FOR 1st HOLY COMMUNION | CONFIRMATION PREPARATION

There are two AA6 programs:

AA6-FHC (Age Appropriate Grade 6) First Communion and Confirmation Prep

• Thursday 4:30 pm or Saturday 9:00 am
• This class is a special program for students aged 12-17 years old at time of registration.
• For first-time students who have not received the Sacrament of Holy Communion/Eucharist who wish to enroll in Confirmation.
• Upon completion of AA6, the student then undergoes an admissions conversation before entering the Confirmation Program.

AA6 (Age Appropriate Grade 6) Confirmation Preparation only

• Thursday 4:30 pm
• This class is a special program for students aged 12-17 years old at time of registration.
• For students who stopped attending faith formation classes after receiving 1st Holy Communion. who wish to enroll in Confirmation.
• Upon completion of AA6, the student then undergoes an admissions conversation before entering the Confirmation Program.

New and transfer students must make an appointment with Sr. Ruth Linaac, RVM, to register in person.

GRADES 3 - 6

Explores the Church and the Holy Spirit, the Beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, Sacraments, Worship, and the Old Testament.

• Thursday, 4:30 pm
• Saturday,  9:00 am or 10:15 am

CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

A two-year program for students who have received the Sacrament of 1st Holy Communion, and successfully passed the admissions conversation.

• 1st Year Confirmation  meets on 2nd and 4th Thursdays, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
• 2nd Year Confirmation meets on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Students are Confirmed in their 2nd Year.

CCD for SPED (for students with IEPs)

IEP Clause: Parents must provide a copy of the student's IEP for review, prior to acceptance to the program.

Sped 1-fhc (First Holy Communion)

• Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. Hybrid, Saturday, 10:30 am

Sped 2-Int (Intermediate)

• Continuation of the catechism class to learn more about the faith after receiving 1st Holy Communion . Hybrid, Saturday, 10:30 am

Sped 3-conf (Confirmation)

• Sped students who have completed the intermediate class are then prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Hybrid, Saturday 11:30 am
  

DISCLOSURE

• If paying by credit/debit card, please add 3% to your final bill.
• There is no fee if paying by check. Please make checks payable to St. Augustine Faith Formation Program and submit it to Sr. Ruth Linaac, RVM, at the Faith Formation Program (FFP) Office.
• Arrangements for installment payments can be made with Sr. Ruth Linaac, RVM, at the FFP Office | check or cash installment payments only.

Thursday, September 24 | 1st Year Confirmation Classes begin | 7:00 pm | Meet & greet catechists, parents, students | Explanation of program components.
