Mark 16:15-18

On this feast day, celebrating the conversion of Saint Paul, the gospel is the “longer” ending of the great commission. Jesus is sending the eleven out to the “whole” world to preach to “every” creature. Those two words indicate that his mission — now theirs — is not exclusively for the Jews but for all people throughout the world.

You chose Paul, the least likely to follow you. With you anything is possible. St. Paul, pray with us for the conversion of all people.
