Mark 2:23-28

Jesus and his followers once again raise the ire of the Pharisees. Breaking Sabbath law by picking the grains to eat from the stalks of wheat seems ridiculous considering commandment of love, yet Jesus takes the time to teach by citing a similar exception to Sabbath law taken by the great king, David.

We pray that all people honor the dignity of life. We pray for the protection of unborn children as well as for mothers who experience crisis in pregnancy. We pray for healing for those who have aborted their children.
