Mark 2:13-17

Peter calls Levi, adding to his number of followers. The first four were fishermen. Levi is a tax collector, a profession considered sinful by the Jews. The Pharisees are further provoked by Jesus’ accompanying Levi to his home and eating with him and his fellow “sinners.”

I am grateful for knowing that there is a place for me at your table, Lord. Give me the grace to invite and welcome in the same way.
