Matthew 2:13-18

Again, the angel appears to Joseph in a dream. He tells him that he must take his family and leave because of the impending threat to the life of Jesus. Without hesitation Joseph takes his family to Egypt, no longer a place of captivity but a place of refuge.

We pray for all families, parents and children, who find it necessary to flee their homelands. Grant them safe passage and kindness and care along the way.
