Ushers and greeters are men and women of all ages who volunteer to:
- welcome parishioners at the front door as they come to Mass or other liturgical events
- direct crowd movement and help people find seats
- take up collection
- pick and usher individuals from the pews to bring the offertory gifts to the altar
- distribute parish bulletin after Mass
